Welcome to Ashhurst Kindergarten, an open and supportive learning community combining the best of town and country.

Children at Ashhurst Kindergarten hail from Woodville, Pohangina, Hiwinui, Whakaronga and all districts in between.
Our large catchment area brings diverse families together and enriches children's learning through shared funds of knowledge.

Our kindergarten is ever-evolving. We're always looking for innovative ways to extend enquiring young minds. Programmes and resources, such as our new carpentry shed, are developed to advance children's interests and maximise learning opportunities with an emphasis on fun.

Parents and whānau are active participants in their children's learning and invited into our centre with a smile and a cup of tea. Our caring teachers and relaxed atmosphere make it easy for children to settle into kindergarten life, developing confidence to try new activities and make new friends.
