Kindergartens, including those run by the Ruahine Kindergarten Association, offer many advantages to pre-school children. These advantages include:

All Ruahine Kindergarten Association member kindergartens receive regular Education Review Office (ERO) checks and audits, and to date all have received favourable and extremely positive reports. As Ruahine Kindergarten Association General Manager Jerry Tanguay puts it: "All our kindergartens have received extremely positive reports, but we are always looking for areas to improve." "Our aim," he continues, "is to have the best kindergartens in New Zealand."
