About Us
Welcome to Bulls Kindergarten, a community-orientated kindergarten providing children with the resources and support to become confident, competent lifelong learners.
Space is a feature of our environment with plenty of room for children to play, learn and explore indoors and out. Healthy practices and an appreciation for the natural environment are promoted as we plant, cultivate and harvest crops together in our vegetable garden. We also enjoy getting active and engaging our imaginations with drama, music and dance. Concepts of literacy and numeracy are incorporated into planned and spontaneous activities creating meaningful learning for children.
Our value system, developed by teachers in partnership with the kindergarten community, is entrenched in kindergarten culture. Children learn about values of: caring, consideration, cooperation, friendliness, respect, creativity, patience, responsibility, self confidence, honesty, trust, helpfulness, enthusiasm, perseverance and understanding. These values are discussed regularly, children are encouraged to provide examples and teachers act as role models for desired behaviours.
We are a close community where whānau involvement is highly valued and celebrated. We look forward to meeting you and your child and embracing your contribution.
