Kindergarten Profile:
Follett Street Kindergarten is one of two kindergartens located in the rural Rangitikei town of Marton.
Children participate enthusiastically in a challenging and inviting learning environment. The well-organised indoor area and spacious grounds encourages their active exploration. Children make choices from a range of appropriate learning experiences. They are confident learners.
Teachers work collaboratively to provide children with programmes that support planned and spontaneous learning opportunities. Teachers continue to develop planning systems in response to children’s emerging interests.
This is a busy, exciting, well-resourced kindergarten with a large outdoor play area. It is a safe, happy environment where children come to have fun, gather knowledge and learn.
