Follett Street Kindergarten
About Us
Welcome to Follett Street Kindergarten, a rural kindergarten with plenty of space for children to play, explore, develop and learn.
We know children are creative creatures. Our fun loving teaching team and wealth of resources foster this natural creativity and allow children to actively engage with learning.
Literacy is a focus of our kindergarten. Words are all around us. We love stories and role playing games for the way they cultivate children's imaginations.
Turtles, rabbits, birds and fish share our learning environment. The children's interest in bugs led to the development of our worm farm and we frequently enjoy visits from pets and other animals.
Our vast outdoor area is a source of kindergarten pride with an outdoor classroom and interactive water feature unique to Follett Street. Parents and whanau are invited to participate in kindergarten sessions. We're an open and accepting community of learners ready to embrace your contribution.
