Welcome to Foxton Kindergarten, a spacious and attractive kindergarten where children can play, explore, learn and grow.

Our learning community combines families from the beach as well as rural and urban areas. We celebrate the diversity of our community. Family involvement is encouraged and reciprocal relationships with families/whanau are embraced to provide the best learning experiences for children.

Mature trees, a large grassy area, fruit trees and gardens all feature in our vast outdoor environment backing onto lush farmland. This sense of space filters through to our indoor area providing children with plenty of room to learn, explore and engage with a variety of stimulating activities on offer.

We have a strong interest in our environment, teaching respect and knowledge of Papatuanu and Ranginui mahi mara kai.

Teachers strive to develop programmes in line with children's interests. This extends children's thinking and enquiry learning. Children are encouraged to develop independence and initiative to guide their own learning journeys.
