Welcome to Hunterville Mobile Kindergarten, travelling to eight different sessions a week with a van full of exciting educational resources and equipment.

Hunterville Mobile Kindergarten recognises the unique needs of rural families. Session venues include Moawhango, Pukeokahu, Papanui, Hunterville, Mataroa, Otairi, Rangiwahia and Kiwitea. Our friendly teacher and teacher aide promote a community approach to learning. Parents, siblings and whanau are invited to stay and participate in kindergarten sessions, share their knowledge and assist with kindergarten activities.

Our kindergarten is well resourced to inspire young minds. Mobile, interactive resources are regularly updated, interchanged and supported by resources at session venues. Children enjoy playing, exploring and discovering together or individually as they grow into confident, competent learners. Their learning experiences are documented through individual portfolios, which are shared with parents and whanau.

Our programme focuses on children's strengths and interests. We aim to hold a few special events per year where children and families from all Hunterville Mobile Kindergarten venues can come together to share in fun and learning.
