Ruahine Kindergarten Association requires a
full time teacher for Awapuni Kindergarten, Palmerston North to cover maternity
leave. Awapuni Kindergarten is
situated in the South West corner of Palmerston North City. The Community is a middle to low
socio-economic income area with a variety of housing including, Government and
private rentals, privately owned properties and rural tenancies. The Kindergarten contributes to at
least seven schools within the area, which requires that the kindergarten
listen and respond to diverse Community perspectives. There are a variety of cultures attending the
kindergarten. The kindergarten is
located near a kohanga reo and Awapuni School. Awapuni Kindergarten builds strong links with the kohanga
reo, schools, and the wider community.
Duties to commence on a fixed-term
contract from Monday 7th May through to Friday 12th October,
or earlier on the provision of one months' notice.

Ruahine Kindergarten Association requires a full time teacher for Foxton Kindergarten, Foxton to cover Study Leave. Foxton is a small rural town situated on the west coast of the lower half of the North Island. Foxton Kindergarten caters for the wider district of the Foxton area. Waitarere to the south, Shannon to the east and Himatangi to the north as well as Foxton Township and Foxton Beach. The Community is made up of rural and urban families, some travel long distances to attend Kindergarten. The families are of variant socio-economic status. The Foxton area provides a relaxed lifestyle with a supportive and productive Community. Duties to commence on Monday 27th February through to Thursday 20th December 2012.

Ruahine Kindergarten Association requires a full time teacher for Hokowhitu Kindergarten, Palmerston North to cover maternity leave. The Kindergarten is situated beside a park and Plunket rooms in a residential area and adjacent to a small shopping centre. The Community is a cross section of young families to retired people, self-employed to beneficiaries, home-owners to state housing tenants. Children go on to three local schools, a number of church, rural and other urban schools. Hokowhitu Kindergartens' close proximity to Massey University and the International Pacific College means they have a multi-cultural population in the Kindergarten Community. Hokowhitu has a supportive Kindergarten Community and Parents/Whānau who actively support the Teachers in the education of their children. Duties to commence on a fixed term contract from 23rd April 2012 for an approximate 12 month period.
