Milverton Kindergarten
About Us
Welcome to Milverton Kindergarten where children are empowered to become lifelong learners.
Our kindergarten philosophy focuses on exploration, the learning environment, links with family, inclusion and empowerment.
Children are encouraged to explore the learning environment, working through processes, solving problems, making choices and developing social skills whilst having fun and gaining confidence.
Family participation in kindergarten sessions, fundraising initiatives and fun events is encouraged and celebrated. Portfolios including photographs and learning stories as well as records of excursions and kindergarten visitors are on display for parents and children to view at any time.
Twice a week during morning sessions we break into four groups. Once a week we work in our books, drawing, writing and recording stories and kindergarten events. Other group times we engage in drama, pre-maths activities, stories and comprehension. Music, art, drama and creativity feature strongly in our programme.
We look forward
to meeting you and your child and embracing your contribution to our learning
community.
