Sessions and family / whanau involvement

Sessions and family / whanau involvement. Session times and lengths vary according to community needs, but in general are:

	three afternoons a week for younger children
	five mornings a week for older children.

There are several Kindergartens which operate School Day hours with an All Day Licence.3 & 4 year olds attend for 4 hours each morning (Monday, Wednesday & Friday and the older ones remain for a further 2 hours in the afternoon).

The session times for most member kindergartens are listed on the respective pages for each kindergarten.

 

 

Families are encouraged to be part of their child's kindergarten life and they can choose their level of involvement. This can include parent helping, sharing skills, helping with trips and fundraising.
