Welcome to West End Kindergarten, an educational environment rich in experiences and opportunities fostering children's enthusiasm for learning.

West End Kindergarten offers four and a quarter hour morning only sessions where three and four year olds play, explore and learn together. Our unique session structure encourages peer tutoring and a caring culture of cooperation.

We have a strong moving to learn focus. Music and movement activities are incorporated into morning group sessions to enhance children's development as competent learners.

Parents are valued as partners in their children's learning. We invite families to participate in kindergarten life and enjoy sharing knowledge with one another to ensure learning is relevant and engaging for all children. We also enjoy regular excursions extending children's interests and strengthening connections to the wider community.

Our outdoor environment is well planned and resourced to support children's creativity and physical skills. Together we care for our worm farm, vegetable gardens and compost bins whilst developing an appreciation and respect for the natural environment.

We recognise the importance of our bicultural heritage and acknowledge children's diverse cultural backgrounds in our curriculum. We work actively to promote equity and positive attitudes to diversity.
